La Maison Orange is a charming stone cottage nestling in a tiny hamlet just outside Treal, near Malestroit and Ploermel in Southern Brittany

The location of the gite makes it the perfect holiday spot for those wanting both the idyllic tranquility of rural Brittany, together with the option of getting out and about to visit the nearby towns, restaurants and sandy beaches
The nearest village of Reminiac is just two minutes drive (1.8 miles) and has a restaurant -The Old Ivy- which sells fresh baguettes- and also has a bar. Less than a mile on from Reminiac brings you to Monteneuf which boasts a large bakers, a general store and another traditional Breton restaurant. We can arrange for a car to take you to and collect you from any restaurant or local town. Ideal if you dont fancy driving back after you've eaten !
The nearest large town is mediaeval Malestroit, about ten minutes away. Here you will find banks, supermarkets and restaurants in abundance. For more info see the Local Towns link on the Things to Do page which has a selection of all the best Brittany towns
The Ground Floor
The ground floor boasts a light an airy open plan kitchen/ dining room and lounge with a comfy leather sofa and modern flat screen television and British satellite TV installed. It receives all the Freeview channels including BBC, ITV etc plus radio. French TV is also available on request
The well equipped kitchen is brand new and has everything you'll need for your holiday including a washing machine and dishwasher
First Floor
The first floor of this Brittany gite has two rooms: The main bedroom with its pine double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and dressing table and an en-suite with toilet, wash basin and walk in shower. The Garden
The rear garden is accessed via the back door which opens onto a seating area with its garden furniture and BBQ. The lawn then blends gently into the field behind. The front of the house has off-road parking for one car and also extensive views across the countryside. You can see across the Brittany hills for about eight miles to the west
